Privacy

Big Tile Mahjong is a no-account, local-first browser game. This page explains what stays on your device, what may be processed when the site or an advertisement loads, and the controls available to you.

Game data on this device

The games use browser local storage for saved boards, results, Daily progress, achievements, earned gold, level progress, accessibility choices, tile size, sound settings, and similar game preferences. Application-owned entries begin with btm_. They are not uploaded by the current game build.

This local game data is retained until you delete it in Big Tile Mahjong, clear this site's browser data, or your browser removes it. It may also disappear when you change browsers, devices, or privacy modes.

Export and delete

Open the World Passport Data view to export application-owned local data as a JSON file or delete it from this browser. Deletion removes only Big Tile Mahjong keys. It does not clear unrelated browser storage or advertising consent choices managed separately.

Audio and files

If a browser feature lets you choose a local audio file, the file is used for playback on your device. The current game does not need to upload that file.

Advertising and Google

Substantial game and editorial pages may use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP address information, browser or device identifiers, and web beacons (pixels) to deliver, limit, secure, and measure advertisements. Depending on your location and choices, an advertisement may be personalized or non-personalized.

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can review advertising personalization in Google Ads Settings.

Utility and trust pages, including World Passport, Privacy, Terms, Contact, Sitemap, and the not-found page, do not load the AdSense script in this build.

Consent choices

Where regional privacy rules apply, an ad-enabled page may show a privacy message through Google Privacy & Messaging or another Google-certified consent platform. Use that message to accept, decline, or manage the purposes and partners presented to you. When Google provides a privacy-options control on an ad-enabled page, you can use it to revisit those choices.

You can also control cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking them may reset local game progress or affect how advertisements work.

Hosting and security logs

Hosting, delivery, and security providers may process request details such as the requested URL, date and time, IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and error or security signals. These records are controlled by the relevant provider's operational and retention settings.

Accounts and online services

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we store a minimal account record on our server: your provider identifier, the display name and avatar you choose, and your Happy Beans balance. We never receive your password, and we do not read your contacts, email content, or anything beyond the basic sign-in identity the provider shares. Online tables (Mahjong Cafe and Duel) exchange only game moves and the fixed quick-chat phrases; there is no free-text chat to store.

You can sign out at any time, and you can permanently delete your account - including your beans and avatar - from inside the app (Account & privacy) or by asking us via the Contact page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Mobile app

The Big Tile Mahjong app for iOS and Android follows this same policy. The app shows no advertising and contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Game progress for the offline games is stored only on your device. Guest play uses a random table name (such as "NORTH-0150") that is not linked to your identity. There is no cloud sync of offline game progress: local boards stay local, and the server holds only the account record described above.

Contact

For privacy questions or requests about site-operated data, use the details on the Contact page. Local game data can be managed directly in World Passport without contacting us.
